Karachi: The workers of Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) on Wednesday staged a huge protest in front the factory against non-payment of salaries for last three months.
According to The News Tribe correspondent, hundreds of protesters of the factory refused to work more without payment of salaries and staged a protest. The factory administration called the police to avoid any act of violence from the angry protesters.
About 1900 engineers of the factory did not get their monthly salaries for last three months.
The company was established in 1971 with the help of Switzerland and it had got ISO 9001 award over manufacturing best and high qualities machines.
