Quetta: Deputy Attorney General Malik Sikandar submitted statement of former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to the Balochistan High Court court in Nawab Akbar Bugti case on Tuesday.
He asked the court that only one arrest warrant was issued against Aziz, Musharrad and others who were nominated in the case. The judge asked whether one warrant was not enough. He also asked about the investigation being carried out by the special branch of police.
The special branch told the court that a latter had been written to the Interior Ministry to bring back Jam Yousuf, former chief minister of Balochistan.
Last week, a local court issued arrest warrants for Shaukat Aziz and ex military ruler Pervez Musharraf in the Bugti murder case.
