Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday came hard on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leadership especially chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for using what he said indecent language in its Lahore rally against President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari .
Addressing his part’s workers convention via telephone from London, Altaf warned the PML-N leadership to shun using ‘cheap and indecent’ language against the elected president, who is the symbol of the federation.
He said that holding protest demonstration was PML-N’s democratic right, but PML-N leaders must mind their language. He warned that if PML-N resorted to undemocratic tactics, the MQM had the potential to contain such tactic.
He harshly criticized the PML-N rally, saying that no political worker attended the rally rather government employees were forced to attended the anti-Zardari demonstration.
