Washington: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday said that Pakistan have to take action against safe haven of militant inside its territory.
Testifying before Congress after a trip to the region, Clinton defined that many Al-Qaida commanders arrested operation in Abbottabad against Osama Bin Laden.
Clinton told the House Foreign Affairs Committee that she has delivered a “frank” message to Pakistan that it was urgent to act against the extremist Haqqani network, she added.
“No one who targets innocent civilians of any nationality should be tolerated or protected.
“I explained that trying to distinguish between so-called good terrorists and bad terrorists is ultimately self-defeating and dangerous,”
She was saying the uneasy partner must be “unequivocal” in its approach.
