Islamabad: China has never expressed its desire to set up military bases in Pakistan, foreign office said on Thursday.
Talking to journalists Foreign Office spokeswoman Tehmina Janjua said that tripartite conference of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkey will be held in Istanbul on November 1. Janjua said that Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar would attend the meeting.
Replying a query regarding cross border attacks from Afghanistan in Pakistani territory, she said that the issue could be raised in the conference.
