Karachi: World Cyber Games, Inc. (WCG), organizer of the premier international video game competition and festival, has collaborated with Samsung Electronics, for the 4th annual WCG 2011 Samsung Mobile Challenge.
The Asian online preliminary contests are being held from Sept. 5 till Oct 6. To participate, the gamers need to have the official challenge phone; “The Samsung Galaxy S2”.
Once they log on to Samsung Apps (Samsung application store) or Game Hub, they download the official mobile game title “Asphalt 6”. After playing, they send their game scores to the ranking system.
The top ranker from each country will soon be invited to the “WCG 2011 Pan-Asian Championship” to be held in Indonesia from Nov. 9th – 13th, whereby they get a chance to attend the upcoming WCG Grand Final in Busan, South Korea from December 8th to December 11th, 2011 and compete to win $65,000 in total.
“Asphalt 6, is a racing game which features more than 40 cars and bikes from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Ducati and other World-class manufacturers.
Players can tune their vehicle & customize it with decals before tearing up the streets of L.A., Tokyo, the Bahamas & other beautiful locations, each rendered in HD. Highly competitive opponents will be driving in 11 different leagues, with 55 events plus Online/Local Multiplayer for up to 6 players.
This year’s challenge will have participants from 27 countries, including: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, China, Costa Rica, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Namibia, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK, and Ukraine.
