Lahore: Some 16,928 dengue patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospitals so far in the province, according to the report released by Health Department Punjab.
Whereas at present, 1206 patients are under treatment in the hospitals, of which 1010 are in various hospitals of Lahore. Free treatment facilities are being provided to the dengue patients in the government hospitals.
According to the report, 371 confirmed dengue patients have been reported during the last 24 hours in the province, of which, 320 belong to Lahore. Similarly, the total number of dengue patients has risen to 17,164, of which 14,790 related to Lahore.
Six deaths occurred due to dengue during the last 24 hours, thus raising the total toll to 235, of which 207 relate to Lahore.
