Johannesburg: South Africa pulled off an incredible victory in the second T20 match against Australia as Parnell and Theron added 64 runs for the eighth wicket off 27 balls.
South Africa had been reduced to 84 for 7 before Parnell and Theron took charge and led their team to the required 148, leveling the series 1-1. Parnell scored 29 off 11 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes. Theron scored 30 off 16 balls, hitting three fours and one six.
South Africa had a disastrous start as they lost three wickets at 18. Smith (24) and Botha (34) then stabilised the South African innings.
Theron was declared man of the match as he also took two wickets.
