Islamabad: The dengue outbreak in Pakistan has claimed six more lives in Lahore while one in Sukkur city on Sunday.
According to sources from Lahore, three dengue fever patients Fatima, resident of Tajpur, Majeed, resident of Makhanpur and Rasheed, resident of Rahman Scheme have lost their lives in Meo Hospital while a woman named Akhtar Bibi, resident of Mazang, Tanveer, resident of Rasool Park and Hanif, resident of Raj Garh, lost her life in Ganga Ram Hospital.
The dengue death toll has reached 233 in Punjab and 213 in Lahore, sources said.
Meanwhile, a dengue fever patient in Sindh named Roshan Mughal, resident of Mehrabpur, fell prey to dengue in Civil Hospital Sukkur on Sunday morning.
