Lahore: Dengue fever has claimed three more lives in Lahore on Thursday, taking death toll to 217 in Punjab.
As per details, Nimra, resident of Shahdra, Asif, a resident of Saudiwal Band road and Kaneez Bibi, resident of Gujar Pur lost their lives due to deadly virus in different hospitals of Lahore.
According to the provincial Health Department, 349 new dengue fever patients were registered during the last 24 hours and numbers of patients have increased to over 16,000 in the province.
The department said that the government was talking all measures to train doctors and nurses in the province to control dengue.
