Lahore: Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Punjab government is against two weekly offs, recommended by the federal cabinet to the Council of Common Interests (CCI).
He said the provincial government would present its stance in the meeting of CCI. “But we will accept whatever decision the CCI takes,” he said.
The minister for petroleum Dr Asim Hussain has also opposed the proposal. The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) said the two weekly offs hurt the productivity of the economy in the past and the same would happen again.
