Karachi: The management of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) has confirmed 40 trainee engineers and professionals on merits after completion of 3 months training.
These engineers and professionals belong to different part of the country and they are selected on provincial quota. They were taking Rs.10,000 per month during their training while after their regularization they will take Rs.18,000 per month.
The approved policy is in the interest of PSM to solve the human resource problems after the retirement of senior employees, as big number of employees and engineers and professional will be retire during coming year from PSM. As per approved policy of PSM, after every 6 months 75Â engineers and 75 professionals will be selected as a trainee than regularized on merit and provincial quota system basis, to full fill the blankness in PSM.
