Lahore: Ayesha Malik, alleged wife of Hamza Shahbaz Shareef and resident of Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Lahore, has complained to Ministry of Interior that her mother and brother are being kept in unlawful custody by some unscrupulous anti-social elements in their premises in Lahore.
She has requested and sought assistance for their release from the illegal confinement. The Ministry of Interior has written a letter to the Punjab Chief Secretary to ensure that all necessary measures and steps are taken to ensure their safety and subsequent release so that their basic fundamental rights of freedom of movement are not violated.
In case there is any ground which constitutes any offence on their part or there is any case or inquiry pending against them may be sent to this ministry. The Ministry of Interior has asked for a report in 24 hours.
