Lahore: Eighteen more people died of dengue fever in Lahore, raising death toll to 178 in the cultural city of Lahore on Friday.
Majid, 23, and Khalid, 30, died at Mayo Hospital and Asher, 25, died at CMH whereas two dengue patients succumbed to dengue at Services Hospital. About 15 people died of dengue virus in 24 hours.
The number of dengue cases is increasing in Punjab. As many as 973 patients admitted in Faisalabad, 308 in Multan, 200 in Bahawalpur, 100 in Gujranwala, 174 patients each in Sargodha and Dera Ghazi Khan and 44 in Sialkot 44.
