Slain journalist’s brother Zahid Qureshi told The News Tribe that his brother was receiving life threats and his brother believed the people threatening him belonged to MQM.
Zahid dubbed the murder as target killing and expressed the fear that the murderers could also harm other members of his family. He demanded the government to arrest the killers of his brother and give protection to other members of his family.
To a question, he alleged that his brother was murdered because he had written true and bold stories in his newspaper. He also appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of Faisal’s murder.
