Kabul: Afghan officials have again blamed Pakistan over the killing of Burhan Udin Rabbani and said that Rabbani’s killer was a Pakistani.
A statement quoting investigator issued from Afghan presidential palace said Sunday said that Rabbani’s death last month “was plotted in Quetta and the person who carried out the suicide attack against Rabbani was a citizen of Pakistan.
It added that the killer had been living in Chaman, a Pakistani border town near Quetta.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rabbani was killed by a turban suicide bomber at his home in Kabul on September 20.
