Kabul: Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said he is suspending efforts to hold peace talks with the Afghan Taliban.
According to a statement issued here on Saturday, Hamid Karzai said that only Pakistan can hold dialogue with extremists and he declared Pakistan key to peace with insurgents.
He condemned Pakistan for cross border attacks in Nauristan and Kunar provinces and said he had directed the foreign ministry to probe the matter and take measures to stop these attacks .
He also alleged that enemy sanctuaries operating were located in Pakistan.
