Mumbai: The Indian selectors Thursday infused some young blood in the team, leaving out injured Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma and Zaheer Khan while off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was dropped for the first two ODIs against England next month.
England are due to play a five-match ODI series, beginning in Hyderabad October 14, followed by Delhi October 17.
The Indian squad includes Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Gautam Gambhir, Parthiv Patel, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Varun Arun, Umesh Yadav, Vinay Kumar, Sreenath Arvind, Rahul Sharma, Manoj Tiwari and Praveen Kumar.
