Karachi: The Rangers have recovered 1,100 weapons during search operations in the city.
According to a spokesperson for the Rangers 90 percent of the weapons recovered during the search operation are illegal.
Briefing the media about the operations, the spokesperson said security has been enhanced at entry and exit points in the city while 35 different types of weapons have been recovered.
Rangers have been conducting search operations in different areas of the city following the wave of violence which plagued the metropolis during the last few months.
