Beijing: Citing the increasing popularity of social websites, Chinese police has been directed to use social media to bridge gap with public.
The vice minister of China public security has instructed the security departments to use locally popular blog websites like Twitter.
The minister said that Internet users are one of the most important segments of the society and they are not satisfied with the police performance.
He said that police can play a key role in public security the country through social media.
