Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senator Ishaq Dar has written a letter to the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, demanding that joint session of the parliament be convened instead of National Assembly session on the current situation emerging after the threats imposed by the United States.
According to sources in the Prime Minister House, the PM secretariat has received the letter from the senator.
Earlier, President Asif Ali Zardari had summoned National Assembly session on Oct 3.
Meanwhile, a local TV reported that high security official have requested the government to arrange in-camera briefing on the current situation.
