Karachi: Law enforcing agencies after conducting different raids have arrested 16 criminals including target killers from Karachi while they also recovered heavy cache of weapons including 50 hand grenades and three machine guns from an empty plot in Surjani Town.
According to The News Tribe correspondent in Karachi, police after cordoning off three streets of Burns Road arrested seven accused while one of them was immediately shifted to unknown destination for investigation.
Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent Police Asif Aijaz  said that police party in a late night raid in SITE area arrested a target killer Ishaq Swati while police also recovered TT pistol from his possession.
The police officer also told that the target killer during investigation confirmed killing of three political activists while further investigation was in progress.
Police on the information of target killer Kamran Madhuri involved in the Chakra Goth incident recovered weapons from a Korangi graveyard.
Meanwhile, Sindh Rangers said that on a tip off recovered heavy cache of weapons from an empty plot of Ajmer Nagri Goth in Surjani Town. They recovered 50 hand grenades, three light machine guns, five Kalashnikov, three pistols, LMG and thousands of bullets.
