Karachi: Pakistan Navy’s rescue and relief operation in rain-hit areas of Sindh continues in full swing.
According to Pakistan Navy spokesmen, Helicopters, Hovercrafts and boats of Pakistan Navy are actively participating in rescue and relief operation.
Spokesman said that during last 24 hours, 4500Kg ration was distributed in Tando Bago, 7000Kg in Benazirabad and 1500Kg in Saeedabad, through PN Hovercraft, boats and road transport.
PN Sea King helicopter also air dropped 2000 Kg ration around Jhudo areas, he said.
PN medical camps at Tando Bago and Jhudo provided medical facility to 900 affectees. Whereas 121 cartons of relief goods and 5500 water bottles has also been dispatched to regional Headquarters for further distribution.
Relief operation, distribution of ration and medical treatment will continue till the situation normalizes.
