Islamabad: Health authorities in Pakistan have said that more than 4630 cases of Dengue have been confirmed in the country so far and that 12 people have died of the fever.
According to National Institute of Health (NIH) report the Dengue virus was found in 4,630 people out of 5,200 cases while 12 people have died by dengue fever so far.
Punjab has been the most affected province with 4311 cases confirmed. Sindh has had 135 cases, Islamabad 93, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 26 and Azad Kashmir 5.
Eight deaths were reported from Lahore and one each in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Faisalabad and Nowshera.
