Baghdad: At least 75 people were killed and several others injured when a suicide car bomber ripped through a gathering of labourors in Iraq, news agencies reported on Wednesday.
According to reports, the bomb detonated early in the morning in the Khadamiya district of northern Baghdad.
Local sources said that as many as 162 people sustained inuries in the blast.Media reports say the attack appeared to be the latest sectarian strike directed against Shiites in the Iraqi capital.
