Karachi: As the spells of heavy downpour are going on, the government announced to close down all the public and private institutions on Wednesday including all universities across the Sindh.
Spokesman Chief Minister said the Sindh government announced that all the academic institutions would be closed down on Wednesday like done yesterday
According to reports quoted by Chief Secretary Sindh, all the academic institutions would be closed in Karachi and across the province, in which all private and public schools and colleges are included.
Sindh Governor House informed that all the universities of Sindh would be closed, whereas Secretary Higher Education Commission (HEC) is also of the view that it was decided to close the universities on Wednesday owing to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, spokesman Sindh government said the decision to take holiday on Wednesday on closing education institutions was decided by Chief Minister Sindh.
