Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Mustafa Kamal has said that hate against Urdu speaking community is being continued.
Addressing a press conference of MQM’s Rabita Committee in Karachi at its party headquarter -Nine Zero – on late Tuesday, the MQM leader flanked with other party leader said the allegations made by former senior Sindh minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza was nothing but a bid to sideline the ‘party of Muhajirs’ MQM and character assassination of MQM’s Chief Altaf Hussain.
He said MQM considers the letter presented by Mirza before Pakistani and international media as ‘fake and false’. He said if Mirza has any proof then he should present before court as today judiciary is free in Pakistan.
Kamal said Mirza alleged that MQM chief said wrote a letter in 2001 to the then British prime minister Tony Blair. He said if there is any agree agreement between MQM and Britain then why Mirza not presented the copy of agreement.
He further said that the address of MQM’s London headquarter written in the letter was fake and the letter seems ‘self content’. He also slammed media for igniting the issue of the letter.
The MQM leader said a few so-called anchors in their late night programme consider that they would destroy MQM in their one hour programme. He also termed the anchors “Gog and Magog”.
He said such the anchors were conducting MQM’s media trial but they should know very well that MQM is a power and they could not get success in their intentions.
He recalled that state operation was also launched in 1992 in which thousands of Muhajirs were killed but later ISPR and head of intelligence agencies and then time leaders accepted that the operation against MQM was wrong but media not presented theses apologies public.
Responding over the reaction of Pakistan People’s Party Senator Lashkari Raesani, Kamal said Mr Raesani, when a Baloch target killer was presented before media, threatened the government, “it wants to save politics or state.”
He asked Mr Raesani that why he was silent when Urdu speakers was being killed in Kati Pahari area of Karachi. And when Muhajirs were being declared the offsets of Jewish through mosques’ loudspeaker in Banaras area.
He also asked Raesani that who was killing innocent Punjabis in Baluchistan. He said where was Raesani when Urdu speakers were being killed and kidnapped in Liyari and Banaras.
He also asked the so-called members of woman human rights organizations that why they were also silent over the killings of Urdu speakers.
The MQM leader said law enforcing agencies and government authorities accepted that they freed 18 Urdu speakers but the question raised here is that from where the kidnapped persons were released. He also said that how many kidnappers have been arrested.
While talking about Ajmal Pahari – target killer belong to MQM – Kamal said Pahari was also arrested in 2002 and the then time JIT – Joint Investigation Team – report against his showed that Pahari killed 100 persons.
He said our intelligence agencies can make the false allegation authentic and people know very well.
He demanded of the Chief Justice of Paksitan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary that asked former Sindh minister Dr Mirza that why and to whom he provided 0.3 million arm licenses.
Kamal said Mirza wants to destroy Pakistan through his malicious intentions but MQM would not allow anyone to do so. He said Pakistan cannot bear more adventures.
Responding Mirza’s allegation in which he said MQM’s minister Babar Ghauri was involved in the NATO missing container case, he said if there is any reality in Mirza’s then people should be careful.
