Karachi: Director General Rangers, Ejaz Chaudhry has said that the declining the wave of target killing is temporary and after some time the terror tide could again rise in the metropolis.
During a press briefing in Karachi, DG Rangers said that the criminals either they belong to any political party or sect, they would be dealt with strictly without any discrimination.
DG Rangers warned that more attempts would be made to spoil the law and order situation in Karachi, and the present declined terror wave is short term.
He said the government handed over the powers to Rangers so we started the operation and during the first raid torture cell found, adding that it was the responsibility of police to curb robberies and whenever police demanded our help we would assist them.
