Canberra: United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has urged Turkey and Israel to accept the recommendations of the UN investigation report into the attack on Freedom Flotilla by Israel. Turkey has cut off military ties with Israel and expelled its ambassador after Israel refused to apologise over the killings of people onboard the flotilla.
Talking to reporters, Moon said the relations between Turkey and Israel are very important for the peace process in the Middle East.
He refused to comment over the report.
Nine Turks died in the attack on the flotilla that tried to break the blockade of Gaza imposed by Israel last year.
