The long awaiting launch of Sony Tablet S is expected within the first two weeks of coming September. This has been the curiosity corner of everyone since its unusual designs have come into picture.
Sony changed the name of the tabloid S1 as Tablet S. The exclusive tablet will be able to connect with other devices in the home and control home theaters remotely through its integrated IR blaster. The IR blaster will allow the Tablet S to act as the remote control for the TV and some other home appliances.
The other unique features of the tablet include its 9.4 inch screen and 1024 x 768 of resolution. It is reported that if the launch of the Tablet S will be made by Google, then expectedly it would run by Ice Cream Sandwich rather that the before said Android’s Honeycomb.
Other attributes of the Tablet S that has come to the fore include a 3 megapixel front facing camera and 5 megapixels back facing camera.
The screen of the tablet would be equipped with TruBlack technology which will be able to display better colour and will have reduced glare.
The Sony Tablet S will also have support for PlayStation along with preloaded Sony software for movies, music and books.
The pricing for the tablet has not been specified yet though it’s been expected to be less than Rs 30,000 in India. The pricing has led many people to look forth for the launch of this mysterious and amazingly featured Tablet S.
