Karachi: The Sindh Government has extended special powers to the Rangers for next three months, said a statement issued here on Thursday.
According to the statement a notification has been issued in this regard. According to the special powers Rangers could conduct operations and arrest suspected elements without any warrants.
The statement noted that the Rangers have been given assignment to eliminate no-go areas in the city,beside using force to end terrorism, taking action against target killers and extortionists.
