Peshawar: One of the eleven accused who were abducted soon after getting release from Adiyala jail two months ago was found dead in a Peshawar hospital.
An official of Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar administration, told a private Pakistani news channel that body of a man was taken to the hospital two days before that was later identified as Mohammad Amir Khan.
It is pertinent to mention here that the eleven accused were released after Supreme Court of Pakistan took sou moto notice of the illegal detention. And the local court released them when no case was proved against them.
Pakistan’s main intelligence agency — Inter Services Intelligence — has confirmed that the released accused were in their custody for interrogation.
Amir was arrested two years ago in a terrorism case but was released after no case was found against him and other 10 persons.
