Quetta: Pakistan Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani will inaugurate the project of utilization of mineral ores located in district Musa Khel, during his visit on Friday.
Earlier, due to absence/backwardness of communications system in the district over tribal feuds and other reasons, possibility for geological survey was out of question.
However following the specific directives of Chief of Army Staff to Frontier Constabulary Balochistan’s inspector general, Maj. Gen Obaidullah Khan a survey was conducted with reconciliation between feuding tribes also carried out; after which tribals also agreed to participate in coal mining process.
Mines and minerals department and geological survey of Pakistan were equally facilitated by cooperative provincial and district governments for the project which would not only create employment opportunities, but would also usher in progress and development in the area.
According to the project, intelligent and deserving students would be facilitated with advanced educational facilities.
FC has vowed to bring peace and harmony in the province, and hoped that it would become a beacon of hope and emulation.
