Peshawar: Following the rising demands of news provinces in Pakistan, Awami National Party has also demanded a new province in Pakistan’s western province of Balochistan.
ANP leader Senator Afra Siyab Khattak said that Southern Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa province should be formed for the people of Balochistan, added, tribal areas should also be made part of the province.
He said that services of senators should be utilized in development projects in the tribal regions, and also demanded that FATA should be given representation in the provincial assembly.
State would have to be fulfilled its responsibilities to quell terrorism, he said, added that, implementation of political parties act has been essential in the tribal areas.
