Multan: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that a committee has been formed into the “people’s demand” of Saraiki province.Talking to media at Circuit House Multan he said that the government was working on Saraiki province on people’s demand.” We will not work against the national interests” He added. He said that final decision about new provinces would be taken by constitutional committee.
The prime minister said that all the stakeholders were being consulted regarding Saraiki province issue.
Replying a query he said Altaf Hussain has been his ally and the government gave respect to the MQM’s mandate.” We want peace in Karachi” he added.
Gilani said that situation of Karachi and Balochistan was differenr from each other, adding that India was not involved in all issues.
