Islamabad: Government of Pakistan Thursday decided to restructure Pakistan Railways with an aim to steer the state-run train service out of the crisis.
Services of consultants will be used for achieving the above goal, said a statement issued from the Ministry of Finance.
It further said that detailed deliberations were held on the issues of railways at a meeting of Finance Minister Dr. Abudul Hafeez Sheikh, Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour and Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah.
The meeting agreed on undertaking restructuring of Pakistan Railways.
