London: United States’ Chief of Staff Committee Admiral Mike Mullen has conveyed a message to Pakistani authorities that stop the policy of provoking violence.
Giving an interview to British Broadcasting (BBC), Mullen said “relationship between the US and Pakistan will remain tense unless Pakistan did not take strong measures against Haqqani Network.”
He said that Pakistan has to leave the policy of provoking violence. He once again said that bordering areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan were the strongholds of terrorists. He said the remains of Osama bin Laden were plotting schemes for terror activities outside the region.
The US top military official warned that if instability increased in the region, it would be a real challenge for everyone. He said the tribal region which borders Pakistan and Afghanistan has become the world’s dangerous place on earth after the death of former al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
