Beijing: Director Gen Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Ahmed Shuja Pasha has arrived in Beijing on a secret visit for strategic dialogue, sources said on Monday.
However authorities did not confirmed the reports of Pasha’s visit. Political experts see the Pasha visit as part of Pakistani efforts to lessen its dependence on the United States as relations between the two countries remain strained after US unilateral red, killing Osama bin Laden.
Reports said that Pasha during his stay in China, would meet Chinese military officials and strategic dialogue between both the countries would also be started.
Last month, Chief of Staff, Let Gen Waheed Arshad paid a week-long visit to china.
