Pakistan Muslim League-Qauid-e-Azam, which had joined the federal government a few months ago, got three newly-created ministries on Saturday. According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, Riaz Hussain Pirzada has been given the portfolio of Professional and Technical Training, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain the ministry of Human Resource Development, and Akram Masih Gill the ministry of National Harmony.
PML-Q had joined the federal government about three months ago. Its support to PPP remains crucial, particularly after the departure of Muttahida Qaumi Movement from the coalition. PPP has offered time and again MQM to rejoin the government. MQM has yet to take a decision.
