NewDelhi: Pakistan and India have agreed on continuing peace talks in the future and making concerted efforts in fighting terrorism.
Both the countries agreed on forming Pakistan-India trade commission.
Speaking at a joint press conference after holding dialogue here on Wednesday, foreign ministers of both the countries expressed resolve to continue peace talks in the future and said agreements have been reached during the meeting, including trade and regional peace.
India’s External Affairs Minister SM Krishna said that both the countries agreed to continue talks on Kashmir issue and making joint efforts against terrorism, the biggest threat facing the region.He said that Pakistan and India should end their differences over Kashmir, adding that Kashmiris of both the sides being allowed to travel and trade on both the sides .Krishna said relations between Pakistan and India were on ‘right track’ .
“We listen each other carefully” he said, adding that he was happy with resuming peace process with Pakistan.He added that India respected Pakistan’s will of continuing talks.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said that Pakistan believed on result-oriented dialogues. She said people of Pakistan and all the political parties wanted better relations with India.
