Karachi: A high level meeting held at Sindh Governor House in Karachi reached the point to form the Coordination Committee to maintain peace in the city.
The meeting chaired by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad was attended by the representatives of Pakistan People’s Party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Awami National Party decided that the committees would work under the supervision of DIG police.
The leaders of PPP, MQM and ANP will be included in the committees.
It was also decided that leaders of three major parties of the city should stop passing statements for each other and work to maintain peace in the city.
These three parties will also coordinate each other for peace, the meeting decided.
