Pakistan: Russia to invest in power sector

Karachi: Russia has made plans to invest in the power sector in Pakistan.

 

Board of Investment Chairman Saleem H Mandviwalla met with a seven-member delegation of the Ministry of Energy of Russian Federation. The meeting discussed the investment opportunities being provided by the power sector of Pakistan.
Saleem H Mandviwalla said that there were a lot of opportunities to invest in the power sector of Pakistan. Talking to the delegation, he deliberated on the investment opportunities in the power sector of Pakistan.
Saleem H Mandviwalla further said that the government wanted to easen the process of investment for the foreign investors. And in this regard open tariff based on various technologies and fuel was being proclaimed
