Islamabad: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman on Thursday said that JUI-F would support PML-N in all matters, including the formation of a grand alliance.
Speaking to the media persons after a meeting with PML-N leaders in Islamabad, he said the PML-N and JUI-F would adopt a joint strategy for the national assembly and senate sessions.
Rehman said that both the parties also discussed various national issues including opposition leader in the Senate.
PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry attended the meeting. Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Azam Khan Swati accompanied Fazlur Rehman for the meeting.
Maulana Rehman had earlier said that Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif were the biggest obstacles in the creation of a grand alliance and that they needed to change their mindset.
