Islamabad: Law enforcement agencies stopped three vehicles with seven foreigners, including American Embassy officals on board from entring Peshawar at Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway Toll plaza here on Wednesday.
Security officials stopped the vehcils and sought no objection certificates from the foreigners but they refused to get off from the vechiles.
They said that they needed no NOC for entrance, however the security officials didn’t allow and asked them to go back to Islamabad .
It is worth menting here that four foreigners were stopped from entring Pehswar at the same venue for same reasns. Sources told The News Tribe that some of the foreigners who were barred on Tuesday were also present in the vehicles on Wednesday.
It was the third such attepmt by the US and foreigners to enter in Peshawar without legal documents and they show similar behavior when ever intercepted by the government officials.
Pakistan has beefed up securiyt inside the country and keeps a vigol eye on foreigners especially on Americans after the Raymond Davis issue and later the Abbottabad operation that killed Osama bin Laden .
