Karachi: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has been arrived Karachi to take the charge of his office after issues resolved between MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari.
It is pertinent to mention here that Governor Sindh had tendered his resignation to President Zardari on June 27 after controversies happened between MQM and PPP-led government.
Hundreds of MQM supporters including its MNAs and MPAs reached at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi to receive Governor Ishratul Ebad Khan.
While addressing from media persons at the airport he appreciated the people who came to receive him. He said, “I took the charge of Governor Sindh on the direction of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain and I left the office on his direction too. And now on the direction of Altaf Hussain, I am joining my office again and serve the people of Sindh, especially people of Karachi.”
He said this is a great honour that Altaf Hussain again give him a chance to serve the nation. He also appreciated the efforts of President Asif Ali Zardari and Altaf Hussain for the larger interest of Pakistan.
Sources said that now, Ishratul Ibad Khan would reach Governor House where Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah would welcome him.
