Lahore: Lady police cops are threatened to have illicit relations with police officers, revealed a report.
The Dunya News, a private Pakistani channel, has had an inquiry report made on the application submitted by a lady constable Nadira Siddique.
She alleged that DPO Muzaffar Garh, Rao Munir, had threatened her through his PSO Malik Liaqat, compelling her to have illicit relation with the former.
She claimed that bad character women were also playing their role in this regard; adding that majority of such women were residing in hostels.
She further revealed that a lady police worker Ghazaala, once, had urged her to have ties with the police officer.
When she refused to do so, the officer suspended her. Later, DIG Rao Sardar reinstated her.
The affected lady police personnel said that some of the names of senior police officers were also removed from the inquiry report, adding that tremendously abusive language has been used while preparing an inquiry report which could not be published.
Police hi-ups have ordered to conduct a transparent inquiry in this regard.
