Khyber Agency: Pakistan Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Wednesday visited Mohmand Agency and exhorted tribals to play role for peace.
The Chief of Armu Staff said that the tribal people should take effective control of the situation and work towards a lasting peace. He said the success against the militants had been made possible by the sacrifices and operational preparedness of the armed and paramilitary forces.
Gen Kayani also praised the joint operation of Pak army and air force in Soran sector. Later, he met representatives of Mohmand tribes.
