North Waziristan: United States unmanned drones fired several missiles in Pakistan’s northwest tribal region late on Monday, killing at least 10 people, political sources said.
According to the sources, the US drone fired four missiles on a house and a vehicle parked near the house in Gorwek area of Datta Khel Tehsil near Pak-Afghan border. As a result, 10 people were killed in the attack.
Several others were wounded in the missiles attack. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Widespread panic erupted in the area after the drone attack. Local residents started rescue operation.
