Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami held a protest rally against the target killings and violent incidents in Karachi.
Addressing the participants of the protest, JI Karachi leader Hussain Mehnti said that a government that indulged in politics of dead bodies was unacceptable to the people. He further said that the people could not be left at the mercy of the terrorists and the government. He strongly condemned the target killings in Karachi.
Hussain Mehnti said that Jamaat-e-Islami has started a campaign for restoration of peace in Karachi and declared that the campaign would continue till peace was restored. He urged the government to resign if it could not restore peace in the city.
