Islamabad: Pakistan has said that efforts were being made to normalise bilateral relations with the United States.
Foreign Office spokeswoman Tehmina Janjua during a weekly briefing on Thursday told journalists that relations with the US has been strained earlier this year but efforts were underway to mend the ties.Replying a query she said that relations with India were normal and meeting of working group of both the countries on Line Control would be held this month.
She said that Foreign State Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will be led the Pakistani delegation in New Delhi talks scheduled on July 18.
The spokeswoman said agenda of the Delhi talks would be set during a secretary level meeting on July 15.
On a question she said Pakistan supported reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
